2019年5月1日15时,由大华博物馆与艺术外滩共同主办的首届1935三年展在西安古都圆满开幕。此次展览以“碰撞与蜕变”为主题,让优秀艺术家与西安对话,打破地域性的艺术限制,激发西安成为艺术古都。

开幕当天,大华博物馆人潮涌动,首届1935三年展吸引来了不少游客,这样的一个三年一次的展览,主办方希望通过一种慢的节奏去观察、探索、认知当代艺术的可能性,就如西安这座城市一样,需要细细品味。处于大华1935,这里留存的厂房一砖一瓦,一管一道,成了最珍贵的回忆,将优秀的艺术作品置入这样的空间,是一种全新的挑战,也是对历史文化的敬畏。

首届1935三年展亮相西安,不仅仅是对西安当代艺术的推动,更是助推中国当代艺术的发展,西安作为中国西部中心城市,也有责任与主办方一起共同肩负起艺术的使命。此次展览,将持续到5月21日闭幕。五月与西安同行,与艺术同行。

碰撞与蜕变

晨光熹微,漫步于西安的街巷,触摸着这里的一砖一瓦,感受着古城的历史气息。虽为古城,但已被林立的高楼挤占分割开来,那些庆幸保存下来散落于古城角落的遗迹就显得尤为珍贵,它们承载着古城的历史记忆,诉说着曾经的辉煌。时光更迭,社会变迁,如今的古城,多元的文化并存,相互碰撞又彼此融合。
西安这座十三朝古都,给大众留下了深刻的印象,也是西安的城市形象。城市文化是城市发展过程中形成的精神价值,城市文化不仅仅是传统文化的叠加,更是与当下城市生活密切相关的当代体验。西安曾是世界文化的领跑者,代表着人类文化的东方精神,几千年的文化积淀使得传统已经浸润到城市的血液当中,在城市的发展中留下了太多的辉煌历史。随着中国的改革开放,世界各种文化思潮进入中国,形成了中国美术重要的发展期。
毋庸置疑,一些优秀的当代艺术作品已纷纷浮出水面,它不刻意强调技法,也没有固定的程式和预设的共识,在媒介的运用上发生了更多的变化,创造出了新的艺术形态,表达出了新的艺术感受和新的观念。当代艺术有别于传统艺术,不容易被大众所接受,保守的思想也不利于其传播。宋代山水是中国美术史上的高峰,他们的艺术形式是有别于前人的,如范宽的《溪山行旅图》,可见古人也是在不断寻求创新和突破的。我们不仅要传承经典还要寻求创新,以包容的心态接受新的思想观念。
历史总是向前发展的,直线或者曲线并不重要。重要的是总有一些敢于尝试和坚持的艺术家在默默地为中国当代艺术发展蓄势力量,等待着星火燎原。1935三年展,源于西安,立足西安,正是在这样的契机下由“艺术外滩”发起。此次展览,希望借艺术唤醒这块沉寂已久的遗迹,同时也希望以大华作为引线带动起古城西安的当代艺术新浪潮。我们将东部沿海城市活跃的艺术氛围带到西部,让多元的艺术语言在这里汇聚,摩擦出更耀眼的火花。立足传统、面向当代、追逐未来,在不断的碰撞与蜕变中探寻更多的可能。
Collision and Metamorphosis

In the morning light, we rambling through the streets of Xi'an, touching the bricks and tiles here, felling the historical atmosphere of the ancient city. Although it is an ancient city, it has been separated by the crowding of tall buildings. The relics which are lucky to survive and scattered in the corner of the ancient city are particularly precious,they carry the historical memory of the ancient city and tell about its past glory. Time changes, social changes,today's ancient cities coexist multi-cultural , with collision and integration.
Xi'an, an ancient capital of thirteen dynasties, has left a deep impression on the public,it is also the city image of Xi'an. Urban culture is the spiritual value formed in the process of urban development. Urban culture is not only the superposition of traditional culture, but also the contemporary experience closely related to current urban life. Xi'an used to be the leader of world culture and representing the oriental spirit of human culture. Thousands of years of cultural accumulation have made the tradition infiltrate into the blood of the city, leaving too many glorious history in the development of the city. With China's reform and opening up, various cultural trends of thought have entered China, forming an important period of development of Chinese arts.
Undoubtedly, some excellent contemporary works of art are emerged one after another. They do not deliberately emphasize techniques, nor do they have fixed procedures and presupposed consensus. More changes have taken place in the use of media, creating new artistic forms and expressing new artistic feelings and new concepts. Unlike traditional art, contemporary art is not easily accepted by the public, the conservative ideas are also not conducive to its dissemination. The landscape painting in Song Dynasty is the peak in the history of Chinese art,their art forms are different from those of the predecessors. For example, Fan Kuan's “The Painting of Traveling in Mountains and Streams”, which shows that the ancients are also constantly seeking innovation and breakthroughs. We should not only inherit classics, but also seek innovation and accept new ideas with an inclusive attitude.
History is always moving forward. It is not important whether they are straight lines or curves . What is important is that there are always some artists who dare to try and persist in silently preparing forces for the development of contemporary Chinese art, waiting for the spark to start. The 1935 Triennial, originated in Xi'an and based in Xi'an, is initiated by the "Art Bund" at this opportunity. This exhibition aims at awaken this long-silent relic through art, and hopes to take Dahua as the lead to bring about a new wave of contemporary art in the ancient city of Xi'an. We bring the active artistic atmosphere of the eastern coastal cities to the west, where the diverse artistic languages converge and create more dazzling sparks. Based on tradition, facing the contemporary and pursuing the future, we are exploring more possibilities in the constant Collision and Metamorphosis.
